Shopping Cart Multiple Ship-To Locations
Shoppers can specify multiple ship-to addresses for different items. This is probably a difficult feature to implement, but very popular for gift items where shoppers buy something for themselves plus others in a single order. An example of this is yankeecandle.com

More discount options
For example volume discounts that can be allocated to multiple products (think mix and match volume discount). Also, a discount that applies to one product when another product is purchased.

Support for SKU size/colour etc options
Currently the Ecommerce module 'product options' do not work for clothing (and other retail) ecommerce sites that require size/colour type options (or other combinations) with a SKU and stock for each and size/colour combination.

Auto Apply Discount Cupon
as i work with ecommerce module i found that in some case it would be better for me to have ability to apply discount cupon automatically in shopping cart and warn buyer about discount in shopping cart section.
More eplanation:
we can supply manager with this option:
*Apply Cupon and warn Customer
if this ption checked then cupon automatically applies to all products that customer add to his basket.in this case customer don't enter the code manually70 votesplanned ·

Customisable product from existing SKU products
Similar to the example in default e-commerce site, the customisable options to be selected from SKU products, rather than setup as seperate product option. So for example as a cycle business a user could select the frame, wheels, pedals etc to create the custom cycle they want. It would also need to look at available stock levels to show availability, but this could be as simple as not being available in the combo box if stock level is 0.
If added using Checkbox or radio buttons it would make sense to limit the number of options to add. With combo… more

Ecommerce product options
One shortcoming for the current product options configuration is that you cannot select the product options which need to be available per product. This makes the administration of option categories a nightmare. For example, when i want to add the option category 'Color' to a bike product, i need to create a new category for each color avaiability for each bike.
Bike 1: available in red, green and orange
Bike 2: available in red and orangeI have to create separate categories for this. It would help very much to be able to select the product options which need to… more

Authorise and Capture Payment
For the ecommerce checkout process it would be nice to allow configuration of the store to initially allow an order payment to be authorised, but not captured.
A cms admin can then capture the payment once goods are shipped. Most ecommerce shopping carts seem to support this (see www.aspdotnetstorefront.com as an example)
Also google checkout integration would be a nice to have.

One click add related item to basket
Often we show related items on our product pages, it would be good to have an option to add the related item to basket with a single click.
I believe this would only work with a single product and not one with options attached, but great for furniture etc where a user can view for example a table then see the related chair to that product and simmply add to basket with a click.

import
It would be great if there was a tool to import inventory information from a spreadsheet, in order to update quantities, etc. from an external source.

Better document the ecommerce setup process
The current documentation shows the default ecommorce site, but doesn't tell you how to configure a site from scratch.
Along these lines, it might be helpful to have certain defaults for the ecommerce module. Order status, public status, internal status, payment type, an shipping methods could all use these.

Create Additional Shopping cart layouts
It would be helpful if the ecommerce module had 1 or 2 additional shopping cart webparts. Modern websites use a variety of techniques for moving the user through the checkout process, sometimes using ajax/single page designs. Having this variety would also help with customizations since more examples would exist. Also, it would force Kentico to centralize/standardize additional logic in the webparts that is difficult to modfiy and merge into a single page

Allow products to be managed under workflow.
Currently product data can be changed anywhere that a document exists. Unfortunately this means that changes cannot be monitored and approved before they are published. I would like for all products to be under the same workflow that documents are so that only users under specific workflows can make changes to products.

Product or option to add a percentage to order
Create an product or order option to add a percentage to the order for example for creditcard fees or an insurance fee. It's a bit like the opposite of a percentage based discount.

Multi Lingual SKU
As with the CMS Documents, it should be posisble to have Multi Lingual SKU information. In a recent project we undertook the customer wanted the SKUName and SKUDescription to be translated into a number of languages as per the other CMS Pages. We had to impliment a custom SKU provider inorder to achieve this, which seems like far too much work. A system that claims to be multi lingual should support this. In fact all elements of the e-commerce modules should allow for translations. Shipping Methods, Payment Methods, Departments and so on. Most companies in Europe want to trade across… more

Discount coupons should have a usage limit
There have been many improvements to the discount coupons, but one glaring omission is not being able to set a 'maximum uses' limit on each coupon.
Currently, a coupon can be used unlimited times before it expires, which is rarely the ideal scenario for an online retainer.
