create more realistic usable booking system
Booking should not be tied only to a calendar. If you have just couple of events the calendar is worthless – you need a list of bookable events grouped by locations or months. Having a booking system is a great idea but it needs to be more usable in real world.

Event Booking Registration
Extend Event Booking form design with Online Forms and Workflow. Allow registered user to register event without entering information that is already in their profiles like name,email, and address. However, they need to enter details like logging, food allergy or food according to their religion prohibit, hotel, payment method (online or wire transfer), payment through payment gateway, etc. Event admin could manage and see reporting of events an booking

Tie booking system in with user accounts
The booking system doesn't store a user's id, only their email address. This makes it difficult to determine what events the user has attended if they ever change their email address.

Events have the option to repeat.
I recall talking to your team before and the ability to schedule repetitive events was (at one time) on the docket for 6.0, but I haven't found that feature if it is there.
From a scheduling standpoint and calendaring, this would definitely be a huge improvement!
