Allow Kentico to interface with industry standard taxonomies (like the AP taxonomy) would better position it to compete with publishing systems. Taxonomy should be able to be applied to any asset (texts, images, events, products etc.) to improve search and "you may also like" abilities.

We would like to improve the taxonomy in general so you can apply tags and categories to anything, but there is no final plan yet. Version 6.0 already supports hiearchical categories, so it should be much better now.
